Put on the heat 12 oz of milk., the sugar and the lemon peel.
When it begins to boil add the rice and cook over a low heat for
20 minutes. If it begins to look a little dry just add little
water.
After 20 minutes check to see if it is soft, if
not just let it cook a few minutes until the rice is soft.
Once you have the rice softened remove from the
heat and add the rest of the cold milk we have saved, if you
see it is too thick add a little more milk until it is to your
taste.
