Method of preparation
1. Prepare a large dish and fill it wit hot tap
water
2. Place the cannelloni one at a time into the
hot water so they do not stick together. If they do simple separate
them and replace them in the water. Be careful not to break
them. If you do just repalce the them.
3. They must soak at least 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Prepare a frying pan with ½ of the oil
to fry the ground meat. Add a pinch of salt.
5. Add to the meat the pâté and the
two tablespoons of tomato sauce.
6. Let simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
7. When this has cooked put it on a plate to cool.
Now we will prepare the white sauce to cover
the cannelloni.
1. Put on the burner a frying pan with the rest
of the oil.
2. When it has warmed add the finely chopped onion.
3. Let simmer several minutes until it is golden.
4. Add the tablespoon of flour and mix well.
5. Add a little salt.
6. When it has thickened add the milk.
7. You mix stir constantly with a wisk until you
have a tthick white sauce.
Finally we will stuff the cannelloni
1. Prepare a dish that will hold the 12 cannelloni
and cover the bottom with half of the white sauce.
2. Place the cannelloni on a clean kitchen towel
3. Place a tablespoon of meat in each.
4. Roll the pasta so as to form a tube.
5. CPlace them in the dish over the white sauce.
6. When all 12 are placed cover with the rest
of the white sauce.
7. Cover with the grated cheese.
8. Finally place them in a 300°F oven for
10 minutes.
