Method of preparation:
In a pot place 1 liter of sated water heat to
a boil and add the cleaned clams and the mussels.
Allow to boil for 20 minutes over a low heat.
After this time remove from the heat and remove
the clams and mussels from the water and save the liquid.
Strain the water to remove any impurities.
Slice the onion in rings and chop the pepper.
Peel the tomatoes crush half of them and dice
the other half.
In a pot put oil, the reserved broth, the paprika,
the parsley and the coloring.
Add the onion, the pepper, and all of the tomatoes
both crushed and chopped.
Put on the heat and bring to a boil then add the
fish cut into pieces.
Add the salt and pepper to taste and allow to
boil for 20 minutes. Watch that it does not get dry. If you
see it with little broth add water.
This dish is excellent served with rice.
