You will need a 10 inch cake pan about two inches deep.
It is well worth the effort that yoy give this
recipe a try, it only takes about 10 minutes.
It is worth the effort, believe me
Ingredients for 5 servings
About 10 Graham crackers.
1 stick butter.
8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs.
3/4 cup condensed milk.
½ cup of your favorite jam.

1º.- You must crush the crackers. It is easily done in a
blender. Place half of the crackers in the blender and let it
run until they are more or less pulverized. Then add the remaining
crackers and repeat. They should be crushed very fine.
If you do not have a blender you can crush them with a rolling
pin. Put the crackers on waxed paper on a flat surface and fold
the paper over them. Then roll them with the rolling pin until
they are finely crushed
2º.- Using a little butter or margarine grease the cake pan
very thinly. Put the rest of the butter in a saucepan over very
low heat to melt it. When it is done mix it with the crackers.
Be sure these ingredients are well mixed. Place the mixture in
the cake pan and extend it over the bottom. This can be done with
the back of a large spoon.. 3º.-In a large bowl put the two
eggs, the cheese, the condensed milk. This can be beaten with
a wisk or fork but is easier with a hand blender.
4º.- When this is well mixed, be sure it is liquid, por it
into the cake pan with the crackers.
5º Turn on the oven to 300°, when it
has warmed put the mixture in the oven. Be sure it is as far
from the heat as possible. That is if your oven heats from the
top, place the cake on the bottom rack, if your oven heats from
the bottom place the cake on the top rack.
The cooking time may vary a little but it will take about 30
minutes. Check the cake each 10 minutes to see how it is going.
If it starts to brown an top you might try leaving the oven
door open until it is done.
Finally take the cake out of the oven and allow it to cool.
Once it has cooled get a large plate and turn the cake over
onto the plate so that the crackers are up. Take another plate
and turn the cake once more. now you have it ready to decorate
with your favorite jam. Simply spread a fine layer on top of
the cake.
I hope this comes out deliciously for you...
