The lettuce you select for this recipe should tight withnot too
large a center.
1 lettuce.
2 cloves of garlic.
½ cup of oil, preferrable olive bur others will serve.
Some sprigs of fresh parsley.
1 can of tuna.
1 pinch of ground black pepper.
Salt.
Method of preparation
In a mortar place a teaspoon of
salt.
Peel the garlic and cut into small
pieces, chop the parsley, place all in the mortar and crush until
they are well blended.
Mix with the pepper, oil, and tuna.
Clean the lettuce and remove the
outer leaves and cut off the base.
Begin to divide the lettuce into
two parts, from them make four and from them make eight.
Place the lettuce on a platter and
add the oil, garlic, parsley, pepper, and tuna so that it falls
into the center of each section of lettuce.
This can be served as side
dish, hors d’oeuvres, or first course.
